The Cedar Trunk Morning Shot

The cedar estate at Himalaya Villas at 6–7am on a clear morning: the horizontal morning light from the east hits the massive cedar trunks (1–1.5m circumference, 100–200 years old) producing the specific dappled trunk-and-shadow image. The forest floor in the foreground, the cathedral cedar canopy above. Wide angle (16–24mm) for the full trunk immersion, or standard prime (35mm) for the intimate single-trunk composition.

The Cedar Fire Pit Shot

The cedar garden fire at dusk — the fire as the light source against the cedar canopy darkening above.
